Expanding pharmacy support with Hartley Medical

Pentec Health recently announced the acquisition of Hartley Medical Center Pharmacy, a nationally recognized compounding pharmacy focused on sterile intrathecal medications for chronic pain and spasticity. Hartley utilizes advanced processes that exceed applicable safety standards. This strategic addition allows us to offer comprehensive pharmacy services for physicians who manage implanted drug delivery pumps in an office setting. By bringing medication preparation and administrative support under one roof, we streamline therapy management for physician practices. This expansion complements our home-based pump management services, giving practices the flexibility to choose the site of care that makes the most sense for each patient. Reliable delivery for the rare disease community

For individuals living with inherited metabolic disorders and rare diseases, consistent access to low protein foods, medical foods, and enteral formulas is a daily necessity. Through ZOIA Pharma, a Pentec company, we support the rare disease community by providing a broad portfolio of medical foods and low protein products. We recently expanded this commitment by acquiring Lil's Dietary, a boutique provider of medical and low protein foods. To support this growth, order fulfillment and distribution will transition to an 11,000-square-foot facility purpose-built for the safe handling of specialized medical nutrition products. This capacity offers increased product selection and gives providers peace of mind during supply shortages. Our team also helps patients navigate insurance coverage requirements to secure reimbursement for these specialized dietary needs.

At-home support for chronic pain and oncology

Patients managing severe pain, spasticity, or cancer often face significant logistical hurdles when seeking treatment. Standard care protocols frequently require traveling to a hospital or clinic for regular implanted pump refills. Pentec provides intrathecal home infusion services to relieve the physical and administrative burden of travel and waiting time. We also offer clinical management of hepatic artery infusions for patients with cancer within the liver or liver metastasis.

Pentec is the only healthcare provider to offer hepatic artery infusion refills in the home. By bringing expert specialty care nurses directly to the patient, we help remove the distance barrier and make continuous treatment more convenient.
