Patient Centered Interventions for PEW: IDPN Past, Present and Future

Presenters: Dr. Amer Khan, MD, Medical Director, Pentec Health

Protein Energy Wasting (PEW) is associated with poor clinical outcomes in patients receiving dialysis and often requires individualized nutrition interventions. This webinar will explore patient-centered strategies for addressing PEW, review key literature evaluating the evidence and outcomes associated with Intradialytic Parenteral Nutrition (IDPN), and examine how recommendations for IDPN have evolved by comparing past and current clinical guidelines. Attendees will gain practical insights to support evidence-based nutrition care for patients at risk of or experiencing PEW.

This program will be provided free of charge by Pentec Health, Inc.

This is a non-CE credit webinar.
