Listening to the Patient Voice: The Role of Patient-Reported Outcomes in Patient-Centered Care

This course will provide an overview of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in renal care, with a focus on understanding the patient experience beyond traditional clinical measures. Additional content will include patient priorities, commonly used patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), barriers to PROM implementation, and practical strategies for using the patient voice to guide communication, interdisciplinary care, goal setting, and follow-up.

This program will be provided free of charge by Pentec Health, Inc.

Dietitians: This program awards 1 CPEU in accordance with the Commission on Dietetics Registration’s CPEU Prior Approval Program. 

Nurses: Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider # CEP17581, for 1.0 Contact Hours

Social Workers: Pentec Health, provider # 1952, is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 3/6/25-3/6/28.
