Matthew Deans brings more than 20 years in the home and alternate site healthcare industry to his leadership of Pentec Health. His experience has spanned commercial functions, operations, business and corporate development, and pharmaceutical supply chain and procurement.
Under Matt’s leadership, Pentec Health has grown to help caregivers, healthcare providers, manufacturers and payers become heroes by providing the expertise and services that simplify and solve complex care challenges not addressed by other providers. The organization’s unique methodology for at home or outpatient care fosters long-term relationships that benefit patients, providers, manufacturers and payers, leading to higher quality healthcare with significantly fewer administrative burdens.
Prior to joining Pentec, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Option Care Health, where he led product and service development across pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans, healthcare systems and providers. He also managed the company’s high-risk obstetrical home care and network management businesses and supervised trade relations and supply chain functions covering $2B+ of annual pharmaceutical spend. In 2015, Matt was part of the management team that led the sale and carve out of Walgreens Infusion Services to Madison Dearborn Partners, as well as completing a merger with BioScrip in 2019 to form Option Care Health.
Matt earned a BA from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and an MBA in Health Sector Management from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
