Specialty Infusion Service
Bringing Healthcare Home
Our Specialty Infusion Service is accredited by THE JOINT
COMISSION and
primarily serves patients with implanted intrathecal pumps delivering
medicine to treat severe spasticity and intractable acute or chronic
pain. Pentec Health has been performing this service for over 10 years.
As a result, we have amassed an unmatched level of experience and
expertise caring for this special patient population.
Traditional home care providers lack the necessary expertise and care
model to properly care for these patients. We fully understand and
appreciate all aspects of this special population of patients – our
business is specifically built to serve them.
Patients with these implanted pumps have to go to a physician's office
every 2 to 8 weeks to have their pumps refilled with the prescribed
medication. While this is an option for most, some will have extreme
difficulty doing so and could benefit from in-home care. Pentec Health's
specially trained nursing team performs refills, assessments and
adjustments in the comfort and convenience of the patient's home or
other location of choice.
