Pentec Health Taps Former Cardinal Health Executive Joseph Cosgrove as Chief Executive Officer

BOOTHWYN, Pennsylvania, Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Pentec Health, a provider of nutritional products and pain management services that improve patient's quality of life, today announced that Joseph C. Cosgrove, former Vice President, Global Manufacturer Services of Cardinal Health, will join the company as Chief Executive Officer and will also be a member of the Board of Directors.

Cosgrove, 40, will join Pentec at the beginning of February and will be based out of the company's offices in Boothwyn., PA. . He served as vice president of Cardinal's Global Manufacturer Services business since January 2006, as well as vice president and general manager of the Nuclear Pharmacy Services business since May 2001.

Prior to joining Cardinal Health in 2001, Cosgrove held positions of increasing responsibilities at PharmasMarket.com, a pharmacy technology start-up. From 1995 to 2000, he held various senior management positions with DuPont Pharmaceuticals. From 1989 to 1995, he held various senior management positions at Neuman Health Services in New Jersey. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1989 and completed his master's program in Executive Leadership Development from the Harvard Business School in 1994.
